Hi Akhil,
13 years of education must be completed before you venture out to Germany for higher studies. After 12th you may enroll into a bachelor's degree program and complete the first year to complete 13 years or you may clear IIT JEE Advanced test. Most importantly you must secure outstanding grades.
Good luck.

Hi Kumar,
It is going to be a tad bit difficult. At least 8 CGPA is considered good enough by the top universities. Paper publication is not mandatory, but good grades are. I will suggest you check DAAD India website for university information. I will advise you to even write to some universities and encourage you to even apply to some.
Good Luck.

Hi Tushar,
MEM courses are indeed available, but limited. It is quite a good course if you are looking to broaden your knowledge in both technical and managerial skills. It is mostly pursued by engineering graduates. As a MEM graduate you will club business and technology. Job prospects are good and can be found in various sectors, even in RnD.
These are some options:
• University of Applied Sciences, Munich,
• Leuphana University of Lueneburg,
• University of Applied Sciences Offenburg,
• University of Flensburg

Hi Yeltsin,
You must complete your bachelor's degree with very good grades and must have an IELTS or TOEFL score. Please note that IELTS score is valid only for two years. So, check the validity while applying. Admissions are done mainly on academic performance.
Good luck.

Hi Meet,
The fee structure is low in Germany. If you take admission in a public University, you may be expect no tuition fees at all or hardly 250-500 Euro per semester. An ideal estimate is around 70k to a lakh per year. This figure excludes living expense.

Hi Sakshi,
Germany is known as the Mecca for researchers. The German government, the industry and the European Union (EU) are the fund providers for German research projects and they have no bound to funding. In addition, the place is really cheap. An MS degree alone will not help, a Ph.D after completing your MS will be required for a strong research career.
Good luck.

Hi Pooja,
GRE is optional for German universities. Having an additional GRE score will be an addition to your profile. Applicants with a mediocre profile are generally recommended to give the GRE due to competition.
Good luck.

For automobile engineering, Germany is far better. The current cost is about 1000 to 2000 Euros as tuition fees and about 6000 Euros as living expenses per annum which at current rates is about 6.5 lakhs. If you have an academic score above 75%, there is a good chance of getting a scholarship which means, tuition fee is fully or partly waived off reducing your cost.

Hi Aditya, you must achieve excellent grades and look for companies offering internship positions to international students. It will be difficult, until and unless your college in India has some sort of tie-ups with any organization in Germany. You can think of looking for a job after completing your internship in India as an alternative. Hope it helps.
