As per the ratio of admissions to applications, the Technical University of Munich acceptance rate stands at merely 8%. Since, the stats are on very low end, we can conclude that it is a competitive university to get in, as it admits less than half of the applicants. TUM Technical University of Munich accepts international applicationsthrough the TUM Application Portal. Once a candidate has applied to the university and submitted all the required documents, it takes the university about 4 - 8 weeks to review applications and send out the admission offers. Students must note that they need to fulfill all the TUM Germany entry requirements in order to get admitted in the university.

To gain admission to undergraduate programs in Germany, a minimum IELTS band score of 6.0 is required, with sectional scores of 5.5 each in Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Listening
For postgraduate courses, the IELTS band requirement ranges from 6.0 to 6.5. Most universities offering MS programs in Germany request the submission of an IELTS score. Plus, if you plan to obtain a German Visa, a minimum IELTS band score of 6.5 is necessary.
