Work experience is not mandatory for writing GMAT. But for getting admission into world's best universities through GMAT work experience is necessary. But still some universities will admit candidates who don't have work experience but got some good academic backgrounds and GMAT score.
So freshers as well as experienced candidates can make use of GMAT exam.

Yes you can appear is both exams. As CAT is for the admission to management programs in Indian institutes whereras GMAT is for management programs abroad. For more details on CAT and GMAT please go through the following links:

All AICTE programmes require a test score.Therefore you can not apply for PGDM programme without appearing for any exam.Minimum required percentile is 60 but we give equally weightage to Candidate's academic marks,performance in GD& PI and work Exp(if any) to consider him for the admission in PGDM programme.So,I suggest you to write any exam and call us with your score.For more detail visit www.isbm.ac.in

Yes you can crack GMAT easily, but you have focus more on English Grammer or Verbal Ability section .

Find below the eligibility criteria to pursue MBA from universities abroad:
- Undergraduate degree (60%-70% plus in degree)
- Atleast 2-3 years of full time work experience after graduation.
- High score in GMAT
- High scores in IELTS or TOEFL.
- Preferred GMAT score- 500-600 plus.
- Preferred TOEFL score- 90-100 plus.
- Preferred IELTS score- 6-7 bands plus.
The eligibility criteria for admission may vary from university to university.

Hello Mohith! If you are applying for an admission in the School of Engineering and Science then you will have to give GRE and either TOEFL (or) IELTS! Where as if you are applying for an MBA course then you may give either GRE (or) GMAT(most of the times GMAT is recommended for an MBA course but if you have already given your GRE test then you may apply with your GRE score) and either TOEFL (or) IELTS !

Hi,
GMAT is a test which need to be taken by students who wish to pursue MBA from universities abroad.
In order to take this test you need to be graduate from a recognized university or institute in any discipline.The candidates should have attained a minimum age of 18 years to be eligible to take this test.
GMAT test is held all-round-the-year. Unlike other exams, you can choose your own date and time for taking the GMAT.
September to December is the high season for GMAT, so in case you intend to take the test during this period, you need to register very early, say 90 days in advance to get a date of your choice.

Hi,
In order to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program you need to be graduate in any field with atleast 50% marks in graduation, plus you need to take various management entrance test like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, etc.
Besides the entrance tests mentioned above some institutes even conduct entrance tests of their own.
Please note that without giving any entrance test it is not possible to get admission in MBA program.
Please note that each B-schools shortlists candidates for second stage of selection which may be independent of each other.
The process may include
- Written Test (WT).
- Group Discussions (GD)
- Personal Interviews (PI).

Hi,
