Government College of Engineering, Kannur (GCEK) is not giving 100% scholarship to all its students. Yes, admission to Government College of Engineering, Kannur (GCEK) for B.E./B.Tech courses under other entrance test scores is possible without KEAM, however, provided one qualifies in recognised other entrance tests.

JEE Main: Candidates who have qualified in JEE (Main) may be considered for admission according to the qualification norms.

Management Quota: Depending on the policies of the state government, a few seats may be available under the Management Quota; most admissions are via KEAM.

To get admission at Government College of Engineering, Kannur (GCEK) for UG/PG courses, one has to fit into the eligibility criteria as follows:

For UG: B.Tech:
The candidate must have passed 10+2 with core subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The Kerala Engineering Entrance Exam (KEAM) conducted by the Government of Kerala gives admission. The scores obtained at JEE Main can also be considered in certain categories.

For PG (M.Tech): B.Tech or equivalent degree in relevant discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for OBC/SC/ST candidates). Admission is done through GATE scores or college-specific entrance examinations.
