The number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each objective test is considered for arriving at the corrected score after applying the penalty for wrong answers
The corrected scores so obtained by a candidate are made equivalent to take care of the minor difference in difficulty level, if any, in each of the objective tests held in different sessions to arrive at the equated scores obtained by candidates on any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all the forms

The Phase I marks of candidates are not considered for RBI Grade B final selection for General Post. The Phase 1 exam serves as screening test. Only the marks obtained in the phase 2 and interview are considered for the final merit list. Candidates qualifying the Mains exam and interview are selected for appointment to the post of RBI Grade B Officers. Phase-I exam for General post comprise questions from General Awareness, Reasoning, English Language, and Quantitative Aptitude. The total marks allotted to the test are 200. The scores of candidates for RBI Grade B exam are calculated based on the normalisation process since the exam is held in multiple sessions. The normalisation of marks are done to adjust the difficulty level of question papers across various sessions. RBI Grade B scorecard displays the section-wise and overall scores. The scorecard can be downloaded by entering the required credentials. Candidates can download their scorecards online only. The normalisation of marks are done using equi-percentile method. As per the revised exam pattern, candidates need to appear for the Psychometric Test in the RBI Grade B exam before appearing in the interview. There are no marks for this test. The performance of candidates in the psychometric test is not counted for the final merit list. It is only conducted to test the psychological knowledge of candidates.
