A strong dMAT score will certainly strengthen your application and demonstrate your reasoning and aptitude. However, German universities evaluate your profile holistically, and the dMAT typically cannot entirely override a very low undergraduate GPA. Universities will still look at your overall academic history, grading trends, and relevance of your degree.

Requirements are different for each course. The general GPA requirements for MS courses at McGill are 3.0 – 3.5 GPA overall. Along with the GPA requirement, students should also fulfill the English Language requirements like IELTS (6.5) and TOEFL (100).

For Indian students applying for the Humboldt University of Berlin admissions are required to have a minimum GPA of around 3.0 to 3,2 on a 4.0 scale. It is around 70% to 75% in their previous Indian degree. 

The competitive programs like the Numerus Clausus courses may require scores above 80% or a 7.5 CGPA. 

Other than this, below are the requirements - 

• The APS Certificate (dMAT is required)
• English (IELTS with 6.0 to 6.5 bands) or German proficiency (C1)

There is a set of Selection Criteria created by each University for a fair admission process. As per the Selection Criteria of San Jose State University, the students are required to get at least 2.5 GPA out of 4.0 GPA scale to qualify for SJSU.

Indian students who want to take admission to MS in Artificial Intelligence & Innovation course should have a GPA of 3.0. GRE scores is required for admission. An UG degree is required for admission. Other documents required for MS in AI & Innovation course are-

Indian students who want to take admission to DMU UG courses should have passed Class 12 with minimum of 65%. The university may also check the Class 10 results in Maths and English. Those who want to take admission to PG courses of DMU must have a Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% - 60%.
