The Keck Graduate Institute does not consider GPA as a primary element during admission. However, some programs like master's of Physician Assistant Studies programs require a minimum GPA of 3 or above as a basic admission eligibility. Along with GPA scores, students must meet the basic eligibility including a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or its equivalent. They also need to turn in the necessary paperwork, which includes unofficial transcripts or equivalent, resume, letter of recommendation, program-specific requirements, English language proficiency, and more.

The University of Tokyo does not officially state a minimum GPA requirement, however, as per an unofficial source, students with an equivalent minimum GPA of 3.7 or higher are known to have secured a seat at the institute.
The UTokyo acceptance rate of 34-36%, warrants students to demonstrate their academic ability & thus only a good GPA would do for interested applicants.
