Some of the postgraduate courses that are offered at North Dakota State University do not require students to submit their GRE scores. However, submitting GRE scores might still help the candidate. A strong GRE score improves the applicants profile and increase the chances of getting accepted by the university. This is especially useful if the applicant's academic background is average or if they are applying to a competitive program. It is very important to check the specific requirements from the official program page, needed for the graduate program applying to, as GRE requirements can vary from program to program.

There is not a fixed cut for Graduate Record Examination to study abroad. Some top universities release course-wise GRE cut-offs for admission. Other than this, not every university in the USA or the world announces a minimum required score for the GRE exam.

Yes, it is possible if you are dedicated. You must study for at least 3 to 4 hours every day. Take a mock test first. See your bad spots. Focus only on weak areas. Use flashcards for words. Cramming is risky but possible.

Yes, 400 words can be enough for a GRE essay. Keep in mind that you essay should be well organized, clearly written and you present clear thesis. Usually, the average high-scoring GRE essay (4.5–6.0) should be between 500 to 600 words. However, length of essay is not the main scoring criteria but quality is.

No, GRE essay topics are not repeated word-for-word, but they are often very similar in theme and structure. There may be some arguments that are repeated across prompts in the GRE Argument pool. Many of which are publicly available on their official website.
