GRE Dates are available throughout the year. Applicants can book GRE slot for the same day (If slot is available). It's rare that an applicant finds available slot for the same day.

The Official Guide to the GRE by ETS is the best book. It has real questions from past exams. For math, use the Manhattan Prep 5 lb. Book. It has tons of practice problems. For words, use Word Power Made Easy or Magoosh flashcards. Don't buy too many books, just finish one properly.

Standardized test scores like ACT and SAT for undergraduate programs and GRE and GMAT for post graduate programs, are in general not mandatory for admission in Deakin University. But some programs might require these scores as programme specific requirements. The University focuses more on academic and English language requirements. But, Applicants can submit these test scores to strengthen their profile and increase the chances of their acceptance.

The University of California Riverside  Campus requires GRE for the Biophysics graduate programme only. Other than the programme mentioned, the GRE test is optional. Although, the students are generally suggested to take GRE for making their application stronger and raising chances to be admitted to this university.

A strong GRE score for the University of California RIverside Campus is considered above 310. However UCR does not have a sepcific cut-off for GRE.

No, both GRE and IELTS are not required to work in Canada. The intent of both exams are different. GRE is a standardized test for getting admission to MS or MBA programme abroad.

Yes, IELTS is required to work in Canada. IELTS General Training is the correct test type for immigration/work purposes.

The University at Albany might need GRE scores for admission in some graduate/MS programs. Although the university doesn't specify that submitting GRE scores are mandatory, it can be highly beneficial for the applicant to submit these scores as it strengthen the applicants profile. Some programs might specify a minimum GRE score for admission hence it is necessary to refer programme specific requirements.

Candidates can appear for GRE General Test once every 21 days, up to five times within any continuous rolling 12 months or 365 days period. Other than this, there is no any rule to appear in the Graduate Record Examination.

Yes, some graduate schools have preferences depending on their programs. Universities prefer GMAT scores over GRE scores for business studies. For STEM courses, universities' admission committees accept the Graduate Record Examination.

In short, checking the university website is a smart decision to see the exact eligibility.
