The latest news about the APTET is that the exam notification was released on October 24, 2025. The APTET October 2025 application is available till November 23, 2025. The Department of School Education, the Government of Andhra Pradesh will conduct the exam in the online mode from December 10.

The Andhra Pradesh TET exam date 2025 has been announced by the Department of School Education, the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The APTET 2025 exam was held online in computer-based test (CBT) mode from December 10, 2025. The AP TET exam is conducted in a span of multiple days wherein two shifts are held on each day. Candidates need to be eligible to appear for the APTET 2025 exam. The Andhra Pradesh TET eligibility criteria 2025 is different for Paper 1 (Part A & B) and Paper 2 (Part A & B). Have a look at the basic eligibility conditions below:

APTET Paper 1 Eligibility: 

• Intermediate/Senior Secondary with at least 50 per cent marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (BelEd) or 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
• Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Bachelor of Education (BEd) OR
• Post Graduation with a minimum of 55 per cent marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated BEd/ MEd

AP TET Paper 2 Eligibility:

• Intermediate/ Senior Secondary and two year DEd Special Education in any of the categories of disability or one-year Diploma in Special Education (DSE) in any of the categories of disability OR
• Diploma in Community-Based Rehabilitation (DCBR) with 6 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs OR
• Post Graduate Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (PGDCBR) with 6 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs OR
• Diploma in Multi Rehabilitation Worker (MRW) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs

No, the AP TET mock tests 2025 have not been released. The Department of School Education, the Government of Andhra Pradesh will release the AP TET mock test links after the release of the AP TET 2025 notification. Separate mock test links will be issued for AP TET Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates can use the mock tests to brush up their preparations for the APTET examination. 

Candidates can solve the AP TET mock tests using the process shared below-

The Department of School Education, the Government of Andhra Pradesh releases separate APTET mock test links for Paper 1A, Paper 1B, Paper 2A and Paper 2B. Candidates simply need to click on the mock test link and start solving the questions online. These mock tests are available online only. 

Candidates must analyse the solved AP TET mock tests to know their mistakes. This helps improve candidates' performance in the exam with more focus on their weak areas. This will enable candidates to crack the exam with high marks.

The AP TET question paper structure has remained unchanged since past few years. The APTET question paper differs for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The AP TET Paper 1 question paper contains 30 questions from each of these five sections- Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I (Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Odiya), Language-II (English), Mathematics and Environmental Studies. On the other hand, AP TET Paper 2 A/B question paper contains 30 MCQs from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I (Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, English, Kannada, Tamil, Odiya, and Sanskrit) and Language-II (English) and 60 questions from Mathematics and Science or Social Studies/Social Science (Paper 2 A)/ Category of Disability Specialization and Pedagogy (Paper 2 B).

The AP TET initial answer key 2025 was released on December 19. The Andhra Pradesh DSC releases the APTET key 2025 to invite objections from candidates. The APTET 2025 answer key is released separately for Paper 1 and Paper 2 (Mathematics and Science/ Social Studies). The AP TET 2025 results will be released after the completion of the exam process. Candidates can check their results using the login details. These login details are Candidate ID and date of birth. The Andhra Pradesh TET result is announced based on the normalisation process. 

Andhra Pradesh TET 2025 result will be released on January 19. The result can be downloaded by logging with the required credentials. AP TET result is announced in the form of scorecard. It will display the qualifying status. Qualified candidates are issued APTET certificate.

 

Open category candidates should score 60 per cent or above marks in the exam to be considered as APTET pass, BC category candidates need to obtain 50 per cent marks and SC/ ST/ PH/ Ex-servicemen need to obtain 40 per cent marks. The candidates securing the prescribed or more marks will be considered qualified.
