Faculty members are well-qualified, but placement through this college seems next to impossible.
Placements: Placement is almost zero. Only 5–10% of students get placed, and the same applies to internships. Many top recruiting companies offer very good packages, but I haven’t seen any link between this college and those companies (campus placements are almost zero). You just get qualified, not educated.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is not bad. It is good enough to stay focused. Surroundings are also clean and tidy. There are no issues with the infrastructure because the classrooms are spacious. Moreover, the library also has a large volume of books in every niche.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly as well as qualified to teach their specific subjects. The quality of teaching is good enough to help students score well. Semester exams are not very difficult to pass if you follow the guidance provided by teachers.
Other: At this college, many extracurricular activities, scholarships, youth festivals, and sports events are conducted every year. It enhance students’ enthusiasm to participate.

Review of Guru Nanak Dev University.
Placements: The placement in our course was decent. The highest package offered in our course was 12 LPA. The average package was around 4-5 LPA. Top Recruiting companies were PNB, Axis Bank, Capgemini, Accenture, etc. Around 80 percent of students got internship offers.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course were good. Wi-Fi facility was available. The library was also present. Modern classroom and computer labs. Hostel quality was also good. All essential amenities were available in the college. Sports and games were encouraged by the University.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of our faculty members was extremely good. The course curriculum was relevant. Students were made industry-ready by participating in expo events and seminars. The semester exam was not very tough.

MBA at GNDU: Fees, placement and faculty overview.
Placements: The university provides on-campus placement through various local firms, Banks, FMCGs, etc. But the average package is 3-4 LPA only, and only 30-40% students get placed through the university. The university also mentions internships as a part of the curriculum during summer break.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent for the course and hostel. Adequate lighting, ventilation and fans are available in classrooms and hostel rooms. The department also has Wi-Fi and projectors for students and teachers. There are ramps for wheelchairs as well.
Faculty: The faculty is good despite a large student ratio. They teach a curriculum relevant to the course that is comprehensive. The exams are held twice a year as mid-semester tests and end-of-semester examinations. They are moderately tough, and a 75% attendance record is important to avoid backlogs.
Other: The university also hosts many fests and events, which are enjoyed by students throughout the city. They also give students and teachers the liberty to host fests in their own departments. The improvements I wish for include the addition of AI and digital business modules in the course and easier placement opportunities for students.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture - Batch of 2025
Offered by Amritsar Group of Colleges

Campus life, hostel life was good, but some of the teachers were so rude.
Placements: Placement rate is very low, as they promised they didn't provide any placements like that, so I don't think that this is a good decision for any student. They gave mostly placements in the applied sciences department, as they have also changed their name from ACET to AGC.
Infrastructure: Facilities and structures are normal, not that good and not too bad. It's like okay. Wi-Fi is available at every point in the college. Labs are there, but not for agriculture students because they don't have permission to pursue this course now.
Faculty: Teachers of some branches are helpful, but not from all the departments. They are qualified, but not to that extent, which is required for college students. Most of the teachers have no experience in teaching, so this is also a very big disadvantage for the students.
Other: I chose this college because I thought it would have all the required facilities, faculty and labs for agriculture requirements.

University for Punjabis only.
Placements: My batch is the first one, and the department hasn't cooperated well with us. They only tell us things to do, they aren't cooperating with us, plus they have also messed up our degree because credits are not being completed in our course. I am doing B.Ed., and our internship was okay, no stipend was provided.
Infrastructure: Superb infrastructure for sports. I am cutting a star because of the hostel. Hostels are not well-maintained, but otherwise, the grounds and libraries are top class. They provide various facilities to students, such as a gym, pool, etc. Many canteens are not so good, and the mess is very poor.
Faculty: This is a very big drawback of this university. Our geography teacher till 4th sem she has taught us in Bachelors and she has only completed Bachelors in geography due to lack of teachers, they assigned another subject's teacher to teach us, which is a very shameful act.

A good campus life with decent facilities and helpful staff.
Placements: In our batch, around 70-75% students got placed through campus drives. The highest package offered was around 6-7 LPA, the lowest was close to 2 LPA, and the average package stayed around 3-3.5 LPA. Companies like HCL, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Byju's, JustDial and a few good local firms visited our campus. Almost 40-50% students got internships as well, mainly in companies like HCL (training), local IT firms, and manufacturing units. The top roles offered in our course were mainly Software Trainee, Network Support, Sales Executive, Technician, and Junior Engineer, depending on the branch and skill level.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was average but good enough for daily classes. Labs had the basic equipment we needed, and Wi-Fi worked most of the time. Classrooms were clean and comfortable. The library was helpful, but it needed more updated books. Hostel rooms were okay, and the food was manageable. Sports and medical facilities were simple but useful when required.
Faculty: The teachers were supportive and explained topics clearly, though teaching styles differ from teacher to teacher. The curriculum was relevant and helped in building practical skills. Exams were moderate and manageable with regular study. The pass percentage was generally good.
Other: Campus life was really good with a friendly crowd and active events. I chose this course for better career options, and the best part was the supportive environment. I just wish for more fests and more extracurricular activities.
