Guwahati University is one of the premier university and offer quality education to the students. The university  is accredited with A Grade by NAAC and recognised by the UGC and AICTE. The total tuition fees of Guwahati University BTech ranges between INR 33,000- INR 66,000. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. If an applicant fails to make the required payment within the allotted time, their admission will be revoked. Aspirants will also need to pay a registration fee to apply for NIMS University admission. 

Guwahati University offers a variety of UG and PG courses across various streams such as Engineering, Managemnt, Commerce, ad others. The fee structure of the programme ranges between INR 12,000- INR 3.15 lakh. The fee strcture includes multiple components such as caution deposit, exam fee, tuition fee, and others. Additionally, students must pay an application fee while registering for admission at the institution. Guwahati University offers BTech programme and need to qualify JEE Main and CEE Assam. To get admission students must have to qualify the eligibility criteria set by the institute for the desired course. Students must attend the counselling process as per the schedule announced on the university website. Candidates with a valid PRC (Permanent Resident Certificate) of Assam are eligible to participate in the counselling. 

Guwahati University accepts a variety of national entrance exams such as JEE Main, GATE, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, and others. Additionally, students with scores of 75 percentile or higher in these national exams may be exempted from the university's written test and proceed directly to the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. 

The  basic eligibility requirement for admissions to the BTech course at Gauhati University is that candidates must complete their Class 12 from Science stream with a minimum aggregate of 45%. Admission process for the BTech and BTech Lateral programme (Biotechnology, CSE, ECE, and IT) of Gauhati University will be through CEE (Assam), JEE Mains, and JLEE for BTech Lateral Entry ( Few seats in BTech shall also be filled through JEE Mains).
