History

National Institute of Technology, Warangal, formerly known as Regional Engineering College, was established in 1959. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru laid the foundation stone for this institute on October 10, 1959, the first in the chain of 31 NITs (formerly known as RECs) in the country.

NIT Warangal is well known for its dedicated faculty, staff and the state-of-the art infrastructure conducive to a healthy academic environment. The institute is constantly striving to achieve higher levels of technical excellence. Evolving a socially relevant and yet internationally acceptable curriculum, implementing innovative and effective teaching methodologies and focusing on the wholesome development of the students are our concerns.

The institute currently has thirteen academic departments and a few advanced research centres in various disciplines of engineering, pure sciences and management, with nearly 100 laboratories organised in a unique pattern of functioning, central library with state of the art facilities.

Ravenshaw University, previously known as Ravenshaw College is a government university. It is one of the oldest universities in Odisha. The history of the university goes back to the time when the Government of Odisha realised the struggles of Oriya students in getting quality education. The university is named after the former British commissioner Thomas Edward Ravenshaw. Initially, the College had only 19 students with slow growth. 

Ravenshaw University is ranked 151-200 by the NIRF 2024 under the 'University' category. It is a well-reputed university with 9 degree-granting schools. The university is accredited by NAAC with an A+ grade. Ravenshaw University provides all the modern amenities to the students including 13 hostels, Odisha's first campus community radio station, cafeteria, and indoor and outdoor sports complex among many others.

Asian School of Business (ASB) was established in 2004 and is located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the leading private colleges in Noida to offer quality education to students in the field of Business Management and Commerce. The college has 33 years of Excellence in Education and is part of the Asian Education Group (AEG). At present, ASB offers BBA (General),  BBA (International),  BCA (General),  BCA (International) & B.Com (General) courses in affiliation with the CCS University. School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Jain Deemed-to-be University, Bangalore is a constituent college of Jain University, Bangalore. The university is promoted by Jain Trust (Jain University Trust), that is located in Bangalore. The Silicon Valley of India offers a conducive environment for learning, be it academically or in extracurricular activities. Known for its emphasis on education, entrepreneurship, research and sports, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) has some of the best minds in the Education and Research field and centers that inspire enterprise and groundbreaking work.

However about Jain University history, it is originates from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College (SBMJC), established by the founder and chairman of JGI GROUP, Chenraj Roychand in 1990. It was conferred deemed to be university status in 2009.
