The IIHM eCHAT (Electronic Common Hospitality Aptitude Test) has brought the following changes to the admission process. Currently the test is now an online proctored one, enabling candidates to sit for the test in the comfort of their homes, but the integrity of the test is maintained. This test is divided into Logical Reasoning, English, General Knowledge, Hospitality Aptitude, is timed for 60minutes and contains 50questions.

Also, the Personal Interview (PI) round has been changed to the online to make it more comfortable. It takes not more than twenty-four hours to have results of such tests; hence referring to as a method of selecting students is very efficient. The alterations it seeks to bring into the test should make it more convenient for those who would wish to take it upon entering the course in hospitality management.
