Hello yashshree, Yes you can contact to the college that you got in round one and get the confirmation from the respective college, if you don't want to go there, you can wait for round 2 and apply once again. All the best.

Most of the colleges offer the course with eligibility criteria that say Candidate seeking for a Diploma or a Degree course in hotel management must have passed the +2 level of exam from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. But, some private college may still offer you this course with these marks. You should directly contact them.

There is a difference between both no much but yes there is:
B.Sc in hotel management is traditional graduation, not a full-fledged hotel management course. It is the part of B.Sc. But, BHM is a full-fledged course and it is specially designed for hotel management. Of course, BHM has better scope as after doing it you can work in service industry, tourism etc.

The course is offered by the Institute under Hunar se Rozgar Scheme of Ministry of Tourism, Government of India
Students would be given a stipend of Rs. 2,000/- upon attaining minimum 90% attendance. eligibility criteria are that the student must be minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years. Candidate must have passed 8th standard examination. Admission Process is that interested candidates can apply directly to the college. Admissions are made on first come first serve basis.

Generally, Entrance test of travel and tourism are based on general aptitude, simple mathematics calculation, Grammar and communication and lots of GK about history, architecture, places, tourism, culture. You need to know about the world. You can prepare of your own and for aptitude and mathematics practice, there are thousands of books in the market.
