To join hotel management course offered by the government, you need to clear the NCHMCT -JEE exam which is the basic exam for the admission in the top institution of hotel management and remember you need to get top rankings for a good institution.

Hey, if you want to do Diploma in Tourism after class 10th, you can apply for aviation course for the rest of the travel and Tourism related courses, you need to clear class 12th or graduation.

If the practical is done in the industry (hotel), then you are paid, but if in the institution that will depend on the institution and your course to pay to up or not.

Hey, if you want to do a regular Diploma course, you are not eligible, because the maximum age for general is 25 years and for SC /ST is 28 years.

No. Not actually. You can definitely change the industry but it is not said anywhere you need to work for fixed term or so. There are people who are non hotel management graduates and earning good and changing after years of experience.
