Hospitality is the industry that comprises not only hotels, but also resorts, restaurants, cruises, casinos, etc. So, it's a much broader term. Still, if you're referring to educational courses, hospitality management and hotel management have a lot in common. And if you choose hotel management, it does't mean that in future you'll only be able to work in hotels. Please opt for a full time Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as hospitality and hotel management etc. You may select the programme of your choice after going through the programme modules and syllabus, just know what you like and dislike, your interests and in which discipline of hotel management would you like to focus in. No, interview is not necessary to get in IHM, but you have to clear NCHMCT for the same. Rank should be between 1-500 to get admission in IHM, Pusa.
