If u pursue MBA from distance mode u have to try out campus where u do get to sit for an interview and hence stand a chance to be placed respectively. But in case of distance MBA the placement opportunities r very inferior in comparison to full time MBA degrees.

Hi Haritha,
There are students in IFIM who are pursuing core finance in-spite being an engineering student. So, I think it depends on your capability and interest.
You can talk to our faculty or after term 1, you can choose your specialisation because you will get basic idea of every course and subject.
So, I leave the decision to you.
All the best.

Dear balaji. all specializations are important. but in MBA choose specialisation based on your background.like., if you are B.Com better go for finance spl. because you will be elevated excellently based on your awareness in that area. coming to HR , marketing ,its your interest to excel in that particular domains. anyway based on your nature and attitude try to choose specialisation and work on it extensively.
