There is no pass or fail in the IELTS exam and candidates can retake the exam as many times as they want. However, every time the applicant plans to take the IELTS exam, they would need to pay the registration fee too. To avoid taking IELTS exam multiple times, it is better that applicants prepare for the exam in one go and pass it too with the required band score too. This will save the applicant from re-appearing for the exam multiple times and save their money too.

Students also have the option of getting their IELTS band scores from the test centre:
- Students need to show their ID number or passport at their designated test centre
- Students need to show the candidate number received on the test day
- Candidates who registered for the IELTS 2024 exam from the test centre will not be able to receive the results through phone, email, or fax
Candidates should note that the above provisional IELTS results are not formal, and printed copies or screenshots of the result page will not be accepted as your IELTS exam 2024 results. You will have to wait for your TRF to be mailed to get the format scores. Provision
