IIEST Shibpur - Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology

The campus is situated adjacent to the A.J.C. Bose Indian Botanic Garden. It is around 20 minutes away by car from the heart of the city and approximately 90 minutes drive from the airport. The Howrah Railway Station is about 5 km away from the Institute. It takes only 10 minutes by car to reach the institute from the 2nd Hoogly Bridge. Hence, the transportation facilities are good which makes it possible for students to easily reach the college.

IIEST Shibpur arranges several fests and seminars for the UG and PG students. The college is a hub of extracurricular activities, events, and clubs that help UG and PG students grow as business leaders. IIEST Shibpur accepts JEE Main scores for the admission to BTech and BTech Integrated courses. Candidates preparing for IIEST Shibpur are only required to appear for the JEE Main entrance exam. Students who secure above the 75 percentile in JEE Main 2025 will have fair chances to secure a seat at the institute. Further, they need to start preparing for the counselling session. IIEST Shibpur CCMN cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to the MSc specialisations, for the first round. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India quota. Among the General AI category candidates, the ranks closed between 294 and 1362. For OBC AI category candidates, the ranks closed between 380 and 2527. For the SC category candidates, the ranks varied between 770 and 4379. The cutoff for the ST category candidates, the ranks varied between 983 and 6910. For the EWS AI category, the ranks varied between 370 and 1973. For PWD AI category candidates, the cutoff was released for M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics, for which the closing rank was 7031.
