You have a good chance of getting admission to some NITs, government engineering colleges, and IIITs, but likely not the top-ranked ones; you might need to consider lower-ranked NITs or other government colleges, depending on your branch preference and specific state cutoffs. Not enough for top NITs, but can consider lower NITs, which is local or regional NITs.

With a 90 percentile in JEE Mains and an OBC rank of 49k, you have a good chance of getting into some NITs and IIITs for a B.Tech, particularly in less competitive branches. You may also need to consider NITs with broader admission criteria or those that prioritize state quotas, as well as IIITs with similar admission standards. NITs like Durgapur, Jalandhar, raipur might be possible.
