Actually, both these courses are excellent. Both have good faculty, good infrastructure and also high market demand. Only point to make difference is placements. Electrical Engineering at IIT Kanpur have little much better placements than Electrical Engineering (Power and Automation) at IIT Delhi. Finally, I would suggest you Electrical Engineering at IIT Kanpur if you consider placements.

It's important to note that the difficulty level of the exam is not influenced by the particular IIT conducting it. Furthermore, the exam's difficulty is not necessarily dictated by trends from previous years. Ultimately, the difficulty level is shaped by the level of preparation and understanding of the students taking the exam, as well as the opinions of experts and students alike. The perceived difficulty level of the JEE Advanced exam is subjective and can vary from person to person. What one candidate finds challenging, another may consider manageable, depending on their individual preparation.

Yes, you can get admission to the B.E. / B.Tech course at Baselios Mathews II College of Engineering without KEAM, provided you have a valid JEE Main score. The college accepts both JEE Main and KEAM scores for admission, so if you have a good score in JEE Main, you can apply directly without appearing for KEAM. However, it's always best to confirm with the college authorities for any specific admission guidelines or changes in the process for the current academic year.
