Since TNEA is only used for engineering admissions in colleges connected to Anna University in Tamil Nadu, results from it are normally not applicable for admission to IMU Kochi.

Exams administered by the Indian Maritime University itself, such as the IMU Common Entrance Test (IMU CET), are typically the basis for admission to programmes offered by IMU Kochi, including the B.Tech in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering, etc.

Both RCSS and IMU offer strong BBA programs, but the "better" choice depends on individual priorities. RCSS boasts a longer history, industry-focused curriculum, and strong placements, while IMU specializes in logistics and maritime management, has state-of-the-art infrastructure, and offers international collaborations. Consider your specific career interests, desired skill set, preferred learning environment, and research further by comparing programme details, faculty profiles, student reviews, and contacting both institutions for specific information.
