The total seat intake for the BSc course at IMU Kochi is 80. To get a seat in this programme, candidates are required to complete certain eligibility criteria, followed by an entrance exam and counselling process. Applicants must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with at least an aggregate of 60% and 50% in English at the Class 10 & 12 levels. The number of lists for admission to IMU Kochi's BSc programme is based on the number of seats offered. The fourth list might not be made public if there are no seats left after the third list. After the third, additional lists may be released at the Competent Authority's discretion and based on seat availability. The lists can be made public via the current online counselling system.

The IMU Kochi Campus BSc cutoff for 2025 has been released for round three. However, there are multiple rounds left that will be released soon. Now, in the comparison of the cutoff trend of the BSc course at IMU Chennai Campus for the years 2024 and 2025, one can evaluate that the rank has decreased and the competition has increased. Yes, a medical certificate is compulsory to get admission into BSc courses at IMU Kochi, Indian Maritime University (IMUC). A physical fitness certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner is required to be submitted at the time of admission, when you get selected. Moreover, in the counseling process, an applicant is required to submit their medical certificates.

Currently, the counselling process is over for admissions to the BSc course at IMU Kochi, which has been released. In this Kochi campus, candidates who qualify for IMU CET can register themselves for the counselling process after the release of the IMU CET rank list. The application form usually starts in the month of April/ May every academic year. For the academic batch of 2025, the last date to fill out the IMU CET Application form was 2 May 2025.
