Most important is being a good programmer. Otherwise, big private players would not employ you. They look for programmers with good mathematics background. I am not sure how good you are with Mathematics and programming. If you are, then you must pick up a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev),. Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like I mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with other MCAs and B.Tech CS applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT Company credentials on the net. If the company is registered with STPI (Software Technology Parks of India), all good IT companies are registered with STPI. If a company spends money to market themselves to customers, only then they are able to get LIVE PROJECTS. Also, if you are an average programmer, and if you're better with creative work, then you can head for web design, games design and games programming/ development or even VFX/ animation, since there is a huge requirement coming up in that domain.

Candidates shall be below Twenty (20) Years of age as on 1st July 2017 in case of all Unreserved/NRIs/NRI Sponsored categories candidates. Candidates shall be below Twenty Two (22) years of age as on 1st July 2017 in case of SC/ST/ OBC/Specially Able Persons (SAP) category candidates. As regards minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examination (I. e. , 10+2), the candidates must have secured: (I) Forty five percent (45%) marks in case of candidates belonging to Unreserved /OBC /Specially Able Persons (SAP) and other categories, and (ii) Forty Percent (40%) marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April 2017 are also eligible for appearing in CLAT-2017 online examination. However, they shall be required to produce an evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.
