Hello Vyankatesh Birajdar, IIST is sponsored by ISRO and is considered a premier institute in its domain. Once JEE Advanced results are declared, the institute will announce cutoffs for different branches and different categories. Keep visiting it to know the details. Best of luck to you.

The admissions in IIST are based on the ranks secured in JEE Advanced. So JEE Main scores are not enough. So you can get admission here if performing well in JEE Advanced. The eligibility criteria of IIST for B.Tech Aerospace Engineering is given below:
Eligibility : Keeping in mind the pandemic situation prevailing in the country, IIST UG Admission 2021 has relaxed the admission criterion. In line with the decision taken by the Central Seat Allocation Board and the IITs, candidates are now required to only qualify in 10+2 or equivalent examinations. It is great to know that you are interested in doing your graduation in engineering in aeronautical engineering branch after completion of your diploma in engineering. The best is of course IIT. You will need to score at least 75% in the Diploma and then clear JEE mains and JEE advanced for this.
