The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) charges around INR 65,000 per semester for its M.Tech programmes. Approximately INR 21,000 is the cost for the OBC Category. Fees for SC/ST will be zero or less than those for OBC.

The university will also charge other fees for things like examinations, computers, alumni fees, campus development fees, institute and library deposits (refundable), and much more. M.Tech at IIST - Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology is better than Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering. The students are placed in ISRO because of the excellent relationship between IIST and ISRO. In a variety of engineering specialties, SCTCE has a strong placement history with numerous companies. Comparatively speaking to SCTCE, IIST often charges greater tuition. But the organisation provides a range of financial assistance and scholarships.

Providing M.Tech programmes in areas such as Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, Control Systems, Thermal and Propulsion, etc., IIST is a university that specialises only in ae

In Electrical and Communications Engineering, the cutoff percentage ranges from 67% to 34%. About 45–35% of applicants are required to complete the B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering. About 36% to 53% will be the cutoff for the Dual Degree programme. The above deadlines apply to students in the General category; for students in other categories, they may vary.

Annual cutoffs may differ depending on a number of variables, including the overall number of candidates, JEE-Advanced difficulty level, and available seats. After the whole admissions process—which includes counselling and seat assignment—is finished, the institute

The B.Tech placements at IIST - Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology are generally considered very good. Nearly all students who get a CGPA of more than 7.5 are accepted straight into one of ISRO's (Indian Space Research Organisation) several centres. For high-achieving pupils, this suggests a placement rate of almost 100%.The institute maintains a strong placement record even for students with lower CGPAs or those who choose non-ISRO placements, with over 40% of students getting placed in reputable firms.

High salary potential was demonstrated by the fact that in 2023 the highest package offered to B.Tech and dual degree stu

Yes, JEE is required for B.Tech at IIST - Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. Candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech program at IIST must have a higher secondary degree (10+2) and will be selected based on their JEE Mains Entrance Exam score. JEE Mains and JEE Advanced are the entrance exams accepted by IIST for admission to its undergraduate programs so it is essential for applicants to have a valid score in both the JEE Mains and JEE Advanced exam to be eligible for admission to the B.Tech program at IIST.
