In this year Jee advanced paper, I got 220/366 and my IIST rank came to be 212. And guess what, I was getting all the streams. My advanced rank was in 3924. So if the Jee advanced paper is as easy as this year, you need to score more than 210 to get a stream in IIST. And if the paper was as difficult as in 2016, then you will have to get above 130.
So as you can see, it depends on the difficulty of your paper! So I can say, practice hard, do good! Try to bring your rank below 8000 in Jee advanced! Then there might be a chance!

IIST Cut Off 2020 has been released for M.Tech/ MS admissions through GATE Scores. Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) offers education in the field of space Science, technology and applications. It offers UG, PG and Ph.D. level courses. Admission in UG and dual degree courses will be done through JEE Advanced 2020 examination. For PG courses, admissions will be given through GATE JEST & UGC NET examinations.
