While application fees for Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology admissions are not clearly mentioned students must pay application fees for the required entrance exams such as JEE Advanced, GATE, etc.

This fee can be paid online through Net Banking while candidates are applying for the required exam. The university also has an admission fee of INR 500 in its fee structure alongside other one-time charges.

Yes, as the foremost institute for Aerospace Engineering education in India IIST Thiruvananthapuram does live up to the hype with its well-performing graduates being absorbed by ISRO and having 1442+ of its alumni currently working at ISRO.

Further students and researchers of IIST Kerala have collaborative access to the laboratories in ISRO and an opportunity to participate directly in ISRO's missions.

No, usually GATE scores are required by IIST (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology) to get into the M.Tech Aerospace program, though this might vary according to some criteria set by the institute. Sometimes, candidates who have passed a B.Tech in an appropriate branch with good grades are taken on direct interviews or through other selection processes, but that happens rarely. One must frequently check the IIST website or the admissions office for information about the current requirements and any exceptions to those requirements.

Yes, good placement for M.Tech at IIST (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology). In 2023, the highest package offered was INR 28 LPA for M.Tech in Machine Learning and Computing. Many of our courses achieved over 50% in terms of placements. Others had 100% placement rates. That's why the institute has good links with entities such as ISRO which directly hires students and opens up great career prospects for students in the realm of space sciences.
