IIST is very good college. Its curriculum is oriented towards space . Placements are very good . You get direct entry in ISRO from this college . Many PSU also come here for recruitment.

If you have interest in ISRO you can definitely go for this college.

Yes, good placement for M.Tech at IIST (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology). In 2023, the highest package offered was INR 28 LPA for M.Tech in Machine Learning and Computing. Many of our courses achieved over 50% in terms of placements. Others had 100% placement rates. IIST offers financial aid to students accepted into B.Tech and dual degree programs, which is financed by the Department of Space (DoS), Government of India. The assistantship/scholarship pays for costs like tuition, student amenities, a hostel with food, establishment fees, and medical costs. There is also an extra book allowance of Rs. 3000 given each semester.
