All the IIT aspirants have to sit for JEE Main and afterward, JEE Advanced. Only the top 2, 24,000 scores in JEE Main will become eligible to sit for JEE Advanced. The candidates must have secured at least 75% marks or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th Class Examination conducted by respective boards.

One of the most important aspects of IIT vs MIT is comparing the different types of exposure students receive. Obtaining a degree at the technological epicenter, I. eCambridge, where MIT is located, may provide you with a plethora of ever-expanding and life-changing professional and networking prospects on an international scale. You can only get national-level exposure if you study at an IIT campus. Most of the IIT campuses are also mostly secluded from the cities and don't offer much scope for a life outside of college.

CSE IIT Bombay is just excellent. Professors are very qualified most of the professor have master and doctorate degree from top university of the world. They are excellent in their respective fields and the college also have excellent curriculum with well design manner.

The closing rank for general candidates is around 60. On a side note, I know of a girl who was of SC category who got into IIT Bombay CSE branch with a rank in the range 1000-1100. that is harsh reality of today education system.

IIT Bombay provides the M.Sc. (Applied Statistics and Informatics) course which is a 2-year course and a student needs to fulfill the eligibility criteria to get admitted to the course. The required CAT score for admission to the MBA programme at IIT Bombay was in the 90th percentile. This cutoff was used to shortlist candidates for the admissions selection process. The final cutoff for admission was around the 98.5 percentile. The final cutoff weightage is 70% from the CAT 5% from the 12th grade, 5% from graduation, 5% from post-graduation, and 10% from gender diversity. For entry into MBA executive programs, the IIT B CAT cutoff score was 97.5 percentile.
