Admission to IIT Bombay's MDes programme is based on the applicants' performance in CEED, followed by a written test and inteview conducted by the institute. Candidates who have a valid CEED score and fulfil the preset eligibility requirements can visit the institute's official website to submit an online application. Such application must be submitted along with the required documents and the applicable application fee which varies from INR 150 to INR 300 for different reservation categories. SJMSOM PhD tuition fee is around INR 96,000. Additionally, hostel fee is INR 1.39 lakh and the one-time fee cost is INR 11,600. The total course fee may include other components, such as caution deposit, hostel fee, thesis fee, library security deposit (Refundable), etc. Some of the fee components are one-time chargeable, while some have to be paid annually/semesterly.
