Yes, IITB witnessed a growth of nearly 8% in the median package offered over the past two years. the overall median package grabbed by IIT Bombay students during placements 2024 and 2023 stood at INR 17.92 LPA and INR 16.66 LPA, respectively.

The average package offered during IITB placements 2024 was higher as compared with 2023. A fluctuating trend was witnessed in the overall average package offered over the past three years. The overall average package offered during IIT Bombay placements 2024 stood at INR 23.5 LPA. Earlier, the average package offered during placements 2023 and 2022 stood at INR 21.82 LPA and INR 21.5 LPA, respectively.

Yes, you may undertake BTech from IIT Bombay through JEE Advanced after 12th (PCB), but only if you have studied Mathematics as an additional subject. IITs require Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as their basic eligibility requirements. Without Mathematics, one is ineligible for JEE Advanced or to pursue BTech programs in IITs. So, if you are keen on pursuing engineering, consider adding Mathematics on your scorecard.

IIT Bombay is one of the top Engineering institute in the country. It is ranked by various bodies. National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) has ranked IIT Bombay, #3 in the "Engineering" category. BTech is the flagship programme of the institute. Moreover, the institute also offers MBA programme. IIT Bombay is also well-known for its Management course. It has secured #10 position in the NIRF 2024 rankings in the Management category.

To get admission in PhD course at IIT Bombay, candidates first need to fill out the application form. Aspirants who have completed a Bachelor or Masters or equivalent degree in Engineering/ Technology or master's or equivalent degree in Science or Arts/ Commerce with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD category) are eligible to apply for PhD course. No, one can not join IDC IIT Bombay without qualifying UCEED for B.Des. The eligibility criteria for getting admission into the college is that one should have passed the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent ) from the recognised Board/Examination.
UCEED is an exam of 300 marks. It has 3 sections. It is usually conducted in the January month and the results are declared in February. The examination is an MCQ-based question paper.
