Brainware University, Kolkata offers a BCA programme. Eligibility for it is completing Class 12 from a recognized board with an aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying examination. Brainware Eligibility Test or BET is the admission criterion. There is no such fixed cutoff rank mentioned for the BCA program. Candidates are selected based on their performance in the BET and eligibility criteria as a general requirement. Cut off marks for a fresh round of admissions for Bachelor in Computer Applications (BCA) were also announced by Ness Wadia College of Commerce with regard to categories and qualifying examination-wise admission.

It seems that the cut off for the general category might be at the 75th percentile in the 12th examination and that the cut-offs below that for the reserved categories might be about 65% or so for the new academic session 2024.
