You can pursue BCA with any stream, but if you want to take admission into top colleges for BCA then you should choose either Science or commerce stream. Along with that, you should definitely take maths and computer science as subjects as it will be highly beneficial for you and you'll be able to score more than average percentage in your BCA.

It depends upon in which college/university you are seeking admission. Generally, students from every stream can pursue BCA without any problem. A candidate needs to score at least 45% in their +2 in order to get admission into BCA. Whereas, some popular/top colleges will provide admission to those candidates who have scored at least 60% in +2 and must have studied Maths and English as mandatory subjects in +2. So, it depends on which college and university you are seeking admission.

Unfortunately, Jadavpur University does not offer BCA but you can get admission in other colleges.

Yes, you can easily get admission into BCA. To be eligible for admission into BCA even in top colleges you just need to score passing marks in +2. You can easily get admission into top colleges for BCA. If you want to learn programming languages which you will be studying in your BCA course then you can check out this app "BCA - Course Programming" which is specially designed and developed for BCA students and is available on Google Play Store. It has programs and assignments of languages like C, C++ and Java with their outputs. You'll be studying these languages in your 3 years of BCA.

Yes, a majority of colleges will provide you admission without any problem but there are some top/popular universities which will not be able to get you admission into BCA. So, search for those universities which will provide you admission and suits your budget.

To be eligible you must have passed mandatory subjects with Computer Science / Informatics Practice / Computer Applications / Multimedia & Web Technology / Data Management Application / Web Application as optional subject.

TANCET MCA Eligibility Criteria 2019. Candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree with minimum 3 years' duration in BCA B.Sc (Computer Science / Information Technology) with Mathematics in 10 + 2 or at the graduate level and should attainminimum50% and 45% for reserved category in qualifying degree examination.

Basic eligibility for admission to an M.A. Programme in Journalism is a Bachelor degree in Journalism and/or Mass Communication with a minimum of 50% marks. Certain universities may admit students from other streams as well but it is completely a university's discretion.
