If you are looking for B.Tech IET, AKTU is considered better than MAIT. IET, AKTU has better placement record and as well has better reputation. MAIT might be preferable if your priorities are campus and environment.
MAIT is often cited as having a larger and more vibrant campus compared to IET. While IET is government college.

The admission success into IET's Civil or Electrical branch following your 84 percentile in JEE Mains depends on multiple components such as minimum rank criteria along with the admission procedure. The Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) Lucknow primarily offers engineering and postgraduate courses, such as B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, and MCA. Currently, a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme is not listed among their offerings.
For pursuing a BCA in Lucknow, you might consider Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), which offers a BCA program. The admission process typically involves entrance exams like IPU CET, with application forms usually available from February to March and exams conducted around April.

Yes, you can join an MBA from the Institute of Engineering and Technology, at AKTU, without any CAT, but you should appear for UPSEE and any other entrance test declared by the university. Mainly, the entrance requirement is either a valid score in UPSEE or a valid score in CMAT or MAT or ATMA. The institute may also consider the academic performance, personal interviews, and group discussions while selecting the students. For the latest details, one should check the specific admission guidelines from the official IET AKTU website.
