The weightage given for each topic in the IPU CET for Lateral Entry to B.Tech course for Diploma Holders is as follows:
- Applied Mechanics (25%)
- Applied Mathematics (25%)
- Computer Awareness and
- Physics/Chemistry Knowledge (25%)
- Analytical and Logical Reasoning (25%)
This means that all four sections contribute equally to your final score in the IPU CET for Lateral Entry to B.Tech.

For BTech Biotechnology, Lateral Entry to BTech Programs for Diploma Holders, and Lateral Entry to BTech Programs for BSc Graduates, the IPU CET 2024 will be held. From April 27, 2024, to May 12, 2024, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University administered the IPU CET 2024.
