Admissions to National Institutes of Technology (NITs) are based on Joint Entrance Examination Main scores, not Joint Entrance Examination Advanced. So if you fail in Joint Entrance Examination Advanced it won't affect your National Institutes of Technology admissions. As long as you have a good score in Joint Entrance Examination Mains you will get admission to the National Institutes of Technologies. For more information, you may visit the Shiksha JEE exam page. JEE Main (https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/jee-main-exam). JEE Advanced (https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/jee-advanced-exam). I hope this will help you.

There are no specific minimum marks in the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced to get into the Indian Institute of Technology. However, a high Joint Entrance Examination Main score qualifies you for the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced exam. A Joint Entrance Examination Main score of 250 or higher is regarded as good and a Joint Entrance Examination Advanced score of 85-95 percentile is ideal for getting into the Indian Institute of Technology through the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced exam. Cracking JEE Advanced means qualifying for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), but it does not guarantee admission to an IIT. Admissions to IITs are based on a candidate's All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Advanced and their availability of seats in a particular IIT and programme. Additionally, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the IITs, such as minimum cut-off marks, age limit, etc.

No, it is not necessary to clear JEE Advanced to get admission to NITs (National Institutes of Technology). Admissions to NITs are based on the JEE Main scores, which is a separate exam. However, NITs also consider JEE Advanced scores for a limited number of seats under their direct admission of students abroad (DASA) scheme.

To get admission to the top IITs, an approximate rank within the top 2000-2500 is required in JEE Advanced. However, the exact cut-off varies every year based on various factors such as the number of candidates, difficulty level of the exam, and available seats.
