With 90 marks in JEE Mains exam according to last year cut-off your rank will be in the range of 180000 - 200000. With this rank, I am sorry to say you won't be able to get any branch in any of the NITs but according to last year cut-off which was 81 marks you can get qualified for JEE Advanced examination. We can't be 100% sure about it until JEE Mains officially declares the cut-off marks for JEE Advanced 2018 for all the categories. But, if you get the chance you can try to score a little higher marks in JEE Advanced which can create scope for you to get admission in one of the IITs. No, you cannot make it to any NIT without appearing or clearing JEE Mains, you have to clear or appear in the JEE main exam.
