Hi, if you want good college, then your rank should be less than 30,000.

If you target for a good NIT, then you have to score more than 95 percentile or less than 30,000 rank.

I will prefer you RD Sharma, because it has different level of difficulty of level of questions. So, it will help you in solving different problems easily. Sometime RS Khurmi is better.
