It is totally fine to have this rank. Well, if you want you can admission into private colleges that are known for providing good education. And else if you want to join government colleges. Just work hard this year, give the exam next year and there you will be in one of the government colleges. All the very best.

Its difficult to get admission in both the colleges with this rank but you may go for some private universities instead which have same curriculum and placements pattern as these universities like Chitkara, CU etc.

Do not worry you have got a good score
But unfortunately you do not have chance to get into good nits but mostly you have a little chance of getting into north east nits,
And even you can try for IIITS
BEST OF LUCK

NIT seems difficult with this rank, but there are some of the good private universities where your son can get nice branch of study with his rank like Chitkara University etc.

To get into IITs you should get through JEE Advanced. With your given percentile I wish you would get into any IIITs.

Hello Sanchita,
At first, congratulations for such a good rank. You will easily get into top NITs I'm sure. Admission in IIIT-Hyderabad depends on JEE Mains marks. If you got near 240, then you may expect to get it but I'll suggest to go for NIT-Warangal. All the best.

Sorry to say it is impossible to get IITs or NITs with this rank even with OBC category. But with your OBC rank you can get many other good colleges. Try to grab the best among them. Wish you luck.
