You can join private institutes if haven't qualified the exam. Many institutes take entrance exams for admission in the courses offered. The syllabus is also quite same. It is suggested that you sit for a few entrance exams and then decide which one to go for. Also, many universities take direct admission even if you have not given the entrance tests but in this case you will have to pay the expensive fees. While you can get some scholarship after performing well in the entrance tests. Find out over the website, search through the course you want to pursue. Hi Soujanya,
As your JEE Mains score is low, so, it will be a little bit difficult for you get admission in this college. But, I will suggest you to participate in the counselling process wisely and smartly. Wait till the last round of the counselling process. At the same time, to be in the safer side, apply for some other private colleges also.

According to your JEE Mains rank, there may be chances of getting a seat in either NIT or IIITs.

Yes, you can definitely get admission but you have to settle for not a good branch, because your percentile is quite low. So, instead of this particular college you should see other private colleges where you can get the branch of your choice with your secured percentile. All the best.
