Hello Chinnu,
It is a very good query that you have raised. This is the doubt in the minds of many students. Here, I will like to clarify that the marks which are best out of the two exams will be considered for calculating your merit list. So do not be worried. In this method the students gets opportunity to score better in the next exam if he or she feels that due to some reason the answers could not be written correctly in the first attempt. This is a good avenue for students to enhance their marks and along with that improve chances of getting admission.

Hello Bhumika,As you are aware, syllabus for JEE Mains is same as CBSE syllabus for class 12th. Hence, I would like to advise you that please go through the books prescribed by CBSE. Then you can search the NET and you will be flooded with names of different books. All will boast of producing students who cleared this exam. Take your pick. However what is most important is to study regularly and with full concentration. Best wishes.
