It depends through which rank you are taking part in counselling. If you have submitted your OBC rank then you will get colleges based on this rank otherwise AIR general rank.

I think getting a seat in NITs is not possible with this rank. You can't have any expectations from NITs. Try for any GFTI.

It's up-to your decision whether you want to join a state college or through JEE. You have chances of getting petroleum engineering at RGIPT and RGIPT has an excellent placement record and you can also get chemical in RGIPT.
