Yes, it is expected to see a change in the Mains pattern but not at a certain extent as government knows better than what should be the rate students can accept the change and they will plan the change accordingly. Moreover, no one can exactly predict what would be the scenario in Mains-2019 as it is the first time, I would advise continuing the same pattern and studies as if any change occurs, it'll be minute.
Best of luck.

Kindly mention the college you are enquiring for as different colleges have different closing rankings with them.
Best of luck.

I would suggest you to again acknowledge your rank as it's not likely to have such a huge difference in the category and General Rankings. Moreover, till then, use our college predictor to better explore the opportunities:

For admissions in M.P colleges, you need only JEE Mains marks. For admissions in UP colleges, you need to give UPSEE only for state government universities.
For admission in DU, the admission is on the basis of CBSE marks (for political and human resource courses), or on the basis of separate entrance test and JEE Mains marks as well. They have a separate number of seats for separate exams.
Hope it helps.

Sorry, IIIT's offer the core ECE, IT and CSE branches only. You need at least under 20000 rank all India to be able to stand for a seat in them. The last ranked IIIT is IIIT - Manipur, where the closing rank is around 27k for general in round - 1. Try for other options.
Best of luck.

There are around 20% girls in the top rankings of Mains, be it under 50000. Hence roughly, you can assume a round off 9-10 thousand girls are there in Mains-2018 as well.

Greetings.
Though, you might get some local government colleges of your state, with home-state quota in one of the non- technical branches, I would suggest you to not run for those colleges, as those are not worth studying in. For mere degree purpose, you can go for them, but for career, exposure and good placements, go for private universities instead. These universities perform way better than the government colleges you would get with these marks. Recommendations are:
LPU, CU, VIT, Amity, SRM, Manipal, etc.
Best of luck.

Sorry, but all NIT admissions close down to at maximum All India rank of 60000 for freshers batch. Rest rankings are for assuring students, their seats in JEE Advanced. Also, for any NIT, the minimum rank required for CS/IT is 15000 all India. Kindly go for state government autonomous institutes with home state quotas or private universities.
Best of luck.
