You are having OBC quota, you will definitely get a seat in DTU. But I can't predict the branch you might get because every year, the cut-off for different branches are changing.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Agriculture with at least 50% marks in aggregate OR Certificate in Food Processing from SLIET Longowal.

It totally depend on counselling. There is less change to get HBTU-Kanpur. But, still you can try this. Or, you can visit another college. All the best.

Both are similar in comparison. Both these colleges fall under top NIT category. So we can't say like which one is better. Yeah from campus life and location point of view, NITK is better than any top NITs.
