It's hard to get admission in JK Institute of Applied Physics with such a rank. CSE branch closes at around 7000.

Hello,
Well, you can use college predictors. One of the predictor's link is given below:
https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/resources/jee-mains-college-predictor
And also check the official website for opening and closing rank in the last round (round 7) for 2017 to know about your preferred colleges.
Here's the link:

And in 2016 over here:

Yes, you are eligible for JEE Mains provided you have 75% in class 12th. It doesn't matter that you have appeared for any other examination or not.

No, don't drop a year just for JEE Mains. Drop only if you are targeting JEE Advance and if you want IITs. Still if you are confident enough that you can do very well in JEE Mains next year and are sure to get top NITs, then only drop the year otherwise it's a waste of time.

If you want to qualify JEE Mains then it is not necessary to take coaching. But if you are targeting JEE Advance and have taken a year's drop for only IITs then you should go for coaching. Preparation for JEE Mains is not that difficult. It just requires consistency and sitting hours. Focus thoroughly on class 11th and 12th.

If you are a Tamil Nadu resident than you will be eligible for Anna University or you can go for other private colleges. For government colleges you should have cleared JEE Mains and Advanced.
