SASTRA has two streams for entry. Stream-1 takes an aggregate of JEE and board marks (75% JEE and 25% board). Stream-2 considers only board marks. Your counselling call will depend on your AIR (All India Rank) which is determined by the aggregate percentile in respective streams. It all depends on the paper difficulty and other parameters. But as a thumb rule, 170+ in JEE Mains should guarantee you a seat in at least any of the course.

Minimum 40% marks in each subject PCM. But, you have to score in JEE Mains well to get a government college. If you get more than 160 marks in JEE main, probability of getting in NIT's will increase.

Yes you are eligible, only thing is you have to know is your percentile score. The actual percentage is not the same as percentile. Like in CBSE if anyone has scored 82 percent then his percentile score is somewhere in 70's. In Bihar board 80+ percent means 90+ percentile. So you can give your Mains. Just don't worry. Work hard and achieve your dreams.
