Hey there,
Well, if you get to clear your JEE mains 2018 exam, then for DTU, you need to apply separately.
Josaa is for IIT, NIT, GFTI, etc.
Jac is for DTU, NSIT, IGDTUW, IIITD, etc.

Learn basics of pcm. For JEE Mains I suggest H. C. Verma for physics, R. D. Sharma for Maths, and for chemistry u can consider any book of Arihant publication. Also if u have completed your syllabus for 11th & 12th then for practice you should solve set paper or previous years questions paper. That will be enough practice for JEE Mains.
For advance u should join any coaching for proper guidance.

I think, it is definitely doable.
One point that I want to add is having a group is very important. If you can create a self-motivated likeminded people who are preparing for IIT, then nothing can be better than that. My suggestion is to find a group of people, wherever you are staying and join some test series. Test series help you a lot.
