Hello Muskan,
Almost all the states conduct their exam for admission to many courses but they also offer admission on the basis of JEE Mains score as JEE Mains is the central exam and all the colleges are instructed to offer admission through this exam. But state colleges offer admission to almost 90% of the students via their own entrance exam and 10% on the basis of JEE Mains exam scores.

NATA and JEE Mains paper 2 are separate exams and are independent of each other. One does not need to appear for the NATA entrance if you are appearing for the JEE Mains Paper 2. Conducted by the Council of Architecture, NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) is a national level common Aptitude Test in Architecture. JEE Mains is the popular engineering entrance exam in India. It is conducted by CBSE for admission to BE/B.Tech & B.Arch courses.
