Try for admission in some good private universities like Lovely, Amity, Manipal, etc where with their own tests they take admission. Clear the test and go for admission.
All these universities have wonderful infrastructure and world-class facilities to offer to students apart from good placements that they offer. Some even offer scholarships.
Good luck.

There will be no problem in admission in NITs. If you drop for JEE, but if you are getting B.Sc. in DU or any other prestigious universities (specially govt.) then you should choose between B.Sc and dropping wisely. Please ask yourself a question that whether you are confidence about dropping or not and is it you who wants to an engineer or everybody else except you. Ask these two questions before dropping.
If you are confident enough then dropping is the best option for you.

Yes, you can definitely clear JEE main examination with a good score by self-preparation. If you have regular practice in solving problems then you can easily score 150+. You need to have concept clarity with a great speed and accuracy in solving problems and practice many mock test papers.
But to clear JEE Advanced, you need a guidance in the most efficient manner.
So try to have coaching for JEE Advanced but you can clear JEE main without coaching.
