Unfortunately, you are on eligible to appear for JEE Mains, because you have to clear 10+2 in state boards and be in the top 80 percentile to appear for the exam. If you have done a Diploma, you have to appear for Diploma to degree counselling.

Overall difficulty level for paper is between easy to moderate. For a student who has been focused and serious all through the two years must have done reasonably well, said RL Trikha, the Director of FIITJEE. Experts found that while the paper was moderate, there were a few tricky questions.

First of all, get good books of all the subjects. Try clearing all the concepts that you find a little bit tough. Immense practice is what one requires to crack JEE. Solve various question papers every now and then, try finding questions that require a multi step approach to solve. In case of any difficulty, ask your doubts, it is necessary to have your doubts cleared. Once you master a topic, solve as many tough questions as you can.

It is impossible to know your state rank for JEE Mains, for the merit list prepared consists of All India Ranks, and there is no criteria of state rank in the national merit list.
